July 12, 2019 The Token becomes more and more mobile
CAPELLEN- Luxtrust, a company specializing in digital identity, diversifies its activities and spreads internationally, with France and Belgium as priorities.
Luxtrust is known for its Token, which has 700,000 users in Luxembourg.
Luxtrust maintains solid growth. The digital ID company grew by 16% year-on-year in 2018, to 12.4 million euros. "Our partnership with InfoCert (note: which acquired 50% of the Luxembourg company at the end of 2018) gave us credibility and an international scale," Pascal Rogiest, CEO of Luxtrust, said on Tuesday.
The company, known for its Token and which has 700,000 users in Luxembourg, relies on "significant" investments made in 2017 and 2018 to offer more mature services and diversify its offer. By the end of the year, the mobile application will identify and authenticate its procedures (banking, administrative, etc.), from any medium. It should eventually replace the physical Token. Luxtrust will also launch a solution from its website to sign all official documents digitally in a qualified version, that is to say with the same legal value as a paper signature. "If an insurer sends you a document, you can download it, sign it electronically and send it back without printing it," explains Pascal Rogiest.
A contract with a French energy supplier
Another innovation to come, the platform IDKEEP will store and transmit its personal data (professional, education, health ...) to companies, institutions, etc. in a secure way and according to RGPD standards.
Via its electronic signature solution dedicated to companies and organizations, already adopted by BIL, POST or Société Générale in Luxembourg, Luxtrust is expanding internationally, with France and Belgium as priority markets. She has just won a major contract with a French energy supplier. With this strategy of internationalization, the turnover in the first quarter of 2019 has already jumped 20% year on year, for 14 million euros expected this year.
